Mondays we invite other Hospo workers to BYO wine. This is to encourage engagement amongst ourselves and others within the Auckland hospitality community. So...if you carry plates, wash dishes, cook food, seat people or clear tables then come along with a bottle! The only corkage is a glass to your waiter or the chef.
Date night for our guests and play night for our kitchen; this is the night we mix it up and showcase a region of Italy. It is a casual, fixed-price menu based on the Italian workers' lunch. Grab your tray, load it with 3 dishes (think antipasti, think pasta, think yum) and enjoy! Glass of wine included. $30 per head or $35 with a glass of wine or beer. The menu for the day will be posted on social media on Friday morning. Note, because of the style of lunch, our ability to cater to dietary requirements will be limited (however there are always vegetarian options).
Yes. Our kitchen can cater to most dietary requirements, and if we can alter a menu item to suit your requirements we will. Otherwise our amazing kitchen will work with what they can to whip something up. Check in with your waiter when you sit down, and they'll let you know what we have available on the day.
Yes, wherever possible we use organic produce (we're about 95% organic at present). Our meats, dairy products and eggs are all free-range and organically farmed in New Zealand. Our fruit and vegetables are, where possible, organically produced. If we can't get produce to meet our ethical and sustainability standards we won't use it. For more information on our suppliers, feel free to ask any of our waiters or staff.
Sorry, no. When you arrive we'll put you on the waitlist and give you a wait time, but we don't sit you down until all of your group arrives. This allows us to utilise our small space efficiently, and minimise the wait for a table for everyone as best as we can.
We charge a $5/head cakeage fee. If you'd like to bring your own cake, thats totally cool! We'll put some candles in it, light them up, and plate the cake for you.
Yes! Our celebration cakes are $50 each and need to be ordered from us 2 days in advance (serves 12). So if you'd like a cake to mark an occasion, just let us know and we'll have it ready! You can choose from one of the following flavours: Chocolate & hazelnut (Gluten Free); Lemon Delizioso (lemon sponge cake filled with lemon cream and drizzled with Limoncello syrup) Raspberry & macadamia (Dairy Free). Your food takes as long as it takes; we are a busy restaurant and we make good food. This means that sometimes food takes longer than you may expect to arrive in front of you. We aim to give you the best experience we can and we want food to come out as fast as possible for you. If we think food is going to take longer than it should, we'll do our best to let you know in advance.
It depends how busy we are. On our busier nights we may close the kitchen at 10pm, on quieter nights we may close anywhere between 9pm and 10pm. If you're unsure, it's always a good idea to ring ahead and check if we're still serving.

We are predominantly a walk-in only restaurant. We take bookings for a minimum of 10 people in the main dining room and in the upstairs Te Awa o Āwhina room, our private dining space. Bookings run on a $65/head sharing style set menu which includes shared antipasti, primi, pasta or risotto, secondi with shared sides, and pudding. If you want to dine alfresco then you can book our Courtyard area for either a sit-down sharing style set menu or a more casual standing and snacking option. Note a minimum spend may apply. Te Awa o Āwhina Room is Coco's private dining space, located upstairs of the main room. It seats 8 to 14 people on a sharing-style set menu at $65/head which includes shared antipasti, primi, pasta or risotto, secondi with shared sides, and pudding. The room has a $100 room charge; it contains its own music system (bring your own vinyls!) and bathroom separate to the rest of the restaurant. We take one booking per night in our main dining room, for groups sized between 10 and 25 people. All bookings are on a sharing style set menu at $65/head which includes shared antipasti, primi, pasta or risotto, secondi with shared sides, and pudding. For groups larger than 25 people please email [email protected] so we can discuss custom arrangements in our main dining room. Please Note If your group has more than four specific dietary requirements, your menu may change to individual dishes rather than sharing, for each course. If your group has three or less specific requirements, the majority of the group will remain on a sharing menu and those with dietary requirements will be catered for specifically.

It's expensive for us to confirm bookings, in time, labour, and the phone bill; It allows us greater flexibility around what time people come, as most diners unconsciously prefer to eat dinner between 7pm and 8pm; It's also more fun! Coco's is an experience, not just a feed. Having a drink around the bar whilst you wait for your table should be fun, and it helps create a relaxing environment.
